Charities rely heavily on fundraising to secure donations to deliver their much-needed programmes. However, charities operating in Ireland are among the many sectors struggling due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. It brought a sudden end to bucket collections, coffee mornings, sponsored runs, and all the other community fundraisers that charities massively rely on. The pandemic left charitable organisations in Ireland with a €445m hole in their finances in 2020. Now, more than ever, charities need public donations.

Why professional face-to-face fundraising works...

This is why regular donations are so vital to charities. The more regular these donations are, the more effectively charities can plan and budget in advance. To do this, they must engage committed, long-term donors and generate regular funds in the most effective and interactive way possible. We are dedicated to securing reliable on-going funds for our charity partners so they can focus on planning and delivering their vital services.

Monthly commitment programmes achieve that objective while raising brand awareness on a national level. The fundraising campaigns we deliver are focused on signing up long-term, regular-giving donors. The longer a donor gives, the more cost-effective the campaign becomes for the charity.

Integral Communications are currently working with a number of Irish charities to assist them achieving their long term fundraising targets. The success of these campaigns is again down to our people and our culture. Having the correct recruitment & ongoing training structure in place is paramount for brand ambassadors to deliver successful long term committed donors to our charity partners.

LauraLynn Case Study

Throughout 2020, 2021, 2022 and now into 2023, Integral Communications is set the task of acquiring new long term committed donors for the LauraLynn children's hospice through an events promotion campaign. We provide a team of Fundraisers representing LauraLynn. We have full responsibility for recruitment, HR, training, development and performance management of staff.

The pop up promotional events we conduct are hugely successful campaigns in terms of the volume of donors acquired and average donation values. Feedback from the donors and the client is always very positive.

Recruiting long-term committed donors on a regular basis is something we strive to do, and the response we receive from the public is always very positive. We look forward to representing LauraLynn in 2023 and beyond.
